Reports from the NY Daily News are saying that a deal with Artest going to the New York Knicks looks to be DOA, as the Pacers have no interest in what Isiah Thomas is offering.
More likely, is a proposed trade with the LA Clippers involving possibly Corey Maggette, though no offer has been "officially tendered"

According to Newsday.com, the New York Yankess have inked injured relief pitcher Octavio Dotel to a one-year deal..
The Dominican Republic native pitched in 15 games in 2005 with the Oakland A's and went 1-2 with a 3.52 ERA and seven saves before being shut down on May 20.
Dotel becomes the latest acquisition by the Yankess to bolster their bullpen, joining Kyle Farnsworth, Mike Myers, and Ron Villone to bridge the gap to Mariano Rivera.
